The thought, consideration, and care that went into this case for the consumer is so impressive. The multi use to cover bottle size, cigar options, pipe case options, sample options is simply incredible. I have picked up 4 cases and am not done, these are amazing gifts for family and friends. So much excitement when they open!
I've been looking for a decent way to take a nice bottle over to a friend's place or on a trip without wrapping it in a hoodie and hoping for the best. The Barrel Vault case solved that.
First thing I noticed is how solid it feels. It's a real hard-shell case with sturdy latches, not a flimsy box. It closes with a satisfying snap and doesn't flex when you press on it. The lid has thick egg-crate foam, so everything stays pressed in place once it's shut.
The inside is where it shines. The bottle slot fit my Maker's Mark Cellar Aged perfectly, wax top and all, with no wobble. The four glasses each sit in their own cutout so they never touch each other or the bottle, which provides a great value. There are also a few extra compartments for small accessories, so you can keep everything for a tasting in one place.
I've used it a couple of times now and it's become a bit of a conversation starter. Opening it at a get-together feels like a small event, and everyone wants to know where I got it. It makes pouring a bottle for friends feel more intentional.

This was a gift to myself, I didn't know what to expect but I'm glad I took a chance on this. Solid case, foam insert is great and can fit almost all my different size bottles. I highly recommend to all whiskey/bourbon afficionados.
